AI

Context is the whole point

An AI assistant is only as good as what it can see. Orbit keeps tasks, docs and conversations in one place, so an assistant can see all of it. And because Orbit runs on your server, that context stays with you.

Bring your own AI client

An MCP server with built-in OAuth. Sign in, choose a workspace and projects, and allow access. Your AI client can then read your projects and tasks.

A built-in assistant next

An assistant inside Orbit that knows every part of your workspace. When an email comes in, it reads the docs, earlier emails, tasks, code and chat about it, and writes a precise draft reply for you.

draft reply, ready to send

Hi Hannah, yes, this is a known bug from last week's 2.4 release (TASK-128). The fix is merged in PR #412 and ships in 2.4.1 on Thursday, before your Friday close. Until then, export by date range, as our export guide shows. Your UTF-8 setting from March stays as it is.

Everything your team needs, nothing it does not

Made for small teams that want one fast, calm place for their work.

MCP server for AI clients

Connect Claude, Codex or Grok to your Orbit with built-in OAuth. You choose the workspace and projects, and your AI client reads the tasks it needs.

Each project has its own statuses, grouped by category. Shape the flow to how your team works.

List, board and timeline

Change the layout with one click. Drag tasks between statuses or along the timeline.

Sub-issues and relations

Break big work into sub-issues, link related tasks and see every change in the activity feed.

Saved views

Save your filters, sort order and layout as a view and come back to it at any time.

GitHub sync

One GitHub App per workspace. Add a label to an issue or pull request and Orbit makes a task. A merged pull request completes it.

Command palette

Press Ctrl K to find tasks, pages and actions from anywhere.
